Scissor Warranty

Scissors can only be returned unused and in the same condition as sent to you within 7 days of delivery. All scissors are checked carefully on fulfilment of orders and leave the premises in working order. Change of mind is not included for returns. Faulty scissors will need to be returned for examination and if found to be faulty will be replaced or refunded. The cost of the item will only be refunded. Postage is the responsibility of the customer. 

Scissors with Teeth (Chunkers, Thinners & Fluffers)

Due to the design of scissors with teeth, including thinners, chunkers and fluffers, whether straight or curved, they require the correct cutting technique.

Applying pressure to the thumb blade or using excessive force can cause the scissors to lock, cross or damage the solid cutting blade. This can occur during initial handling, even before the scissors have been used on a dog.

For this reason, we cannot accept returns where damage has occurred as a result of incorrect handling or use.

Every pair of scissors is individually inspected, tested and checked prior to dispatch. We also record a video of each order before it leaves our premises, providing evidence that the scissors were in full working order at the time of shipment.

If scissors are returned because they are believed to be faulty on arrival (for example, folding hair, locking or not cutting correctly), and our inspection together with the dispatch video confirms they were functioning correctly when sent, the customer will be responsible for:

  • The cost of returning the scissors to WOW Grooming.
  • Any adjustment or alignment charge incurred by our appointed sharpening specialist.
  • The cost of returning the scissors to the customer.

If a genuine manufacturing fault is identified, these costs will not apply.

By purchasing scissors from Wow Grooming, you confirm you are 18 years or over. These are professional grooming tools and must be used and stored responsibly. Wow Grooming reserves the right to refuse or cancel orders where misuse is suspected
